On my previous post, I wrote about the benefits of drinking infused water. Now I will be sharing with you how to make delicious infused water. Do not panic because you don’t need much, only a few items that you can see in your kitchen or probably in your garden.
The only limit to making infused water is there must be no dry fruits or nuts used. Why, because our purpose for using fresh fruits or herbs is to make the water tasty. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Any fruits or herb of choice
The most common infused water I do is lemon or lime with mint leaves. All I do is slice the lemons and/or limes and add them on the water. After that, I throw in some mint leaves that are thoroughly washed. Then I cover my pitcher to avoid making my water taste like the refrigerator. I wait for 4 hours before I drink the water. It’s actually better if you infuse the water 24 hours to make the water tastier. Normally lemons when soaked for a long time it makes the water bitter so for me, I remove the lemon or replace it with a new one after 24 hours.
Here are other infused water recipe you can try:
- Cucumber Mint
- Watermelon Basil
- Strawberry Lemon
- Mango Pineapple
- Blackberry Mint
- Blueberry Orange
- Watermelon Mint
- Apple Cinnamon
You can try other fruits and herbs if you want. You can mix and match them, it doesn’t matter as long as you will drink more water.
