Hand Cream by September Delight

I think having a soft looking hands is an essential part of our skincare routine. It’s not only the face that needs all of the attention in taking care of ourselves. I used to neglect taking care of my hands, however as time goes by I have been pouring some of my attention to other parts of my body. Lately, I have been obsessed with hand cream. I like hand creams that are small because they’re light and easy to carry wherever you go. Aside from being handy, I enjoy having soft hands, and that’s the fact and real reason why I am obsessed with hand creams. I have bought various hand creams from different brands, although I’m still out looking for more. I am in search of the best hand cream that suits me. But for now, I have listed down four hand creams, and I have shared some of my thoughts about it.

The Face Shop Green Tea Hand Cream

The Face Shop Green Tea Hand Lotion

  • Good Packaging
  • Available only in travel size (30 ml)
  • I bought the Green Tea Scent, and it smells great
  • Consistency: Gel-like (Not like other hand creams that are creamy)
  • When applied it is easily absorbed by the skin
  • It softens the skin at first but it doesn’t achieve the moisturizing effect seen in other hand cream
  • Available in 10 different scent
  • Available online or at your local The Face Shop store
  • Recommendation: 4/5 (Because it lacks the moisturizing effect that we usually want in a hand cream).
  • Price: $4

Skinfood Shea butter and Rose Hand Cream

Skinfood Shea Butter Perfumed Hand Cream

  • Good packaging
  • Perfect for traveling because of its small size
  • Smell is not strong, it has a sweet fruity or floral scent
  • Thick but absorbs quickly on the skin, non-greasy
  • Has a good moisturizing effect
  • It comes in 10 different varieties
  • Contains shea butter which has a moisturizing effect on the skin. Other helpful properties of shea butter on the skin are the following: Anti-inflammatory effect, reduce stretch marks, and maintains the elasticity of the skin.
  • Available online or at your local Skinfood shop
  • Recommendation: 5/5
  • Price: $5

Human Nature Peach and Vanilla Hand and Foot Cream

Hand Cream Skincare
Human Nature Vanilla Peach Hand Cream

  • Good packaging
  • Perfect for traveling because of its small size
  • Thick but absorbs quickly on the skin, non-greasy
  • Has a good moisturizing effect
  • Comes in 4 different scent (Peach and Vanilla, Eucalyptus, Rose and Strawberry)
  • I’ve bought the peach and vanilla variant, it smells more like vanilla, the peach scent is not recognizable, however it doesn’t bother me at all.
  • It’s very affordable. Sold individually or in packs of 3.
  • It contains Sunflower oil, Avocado oil, Soybeans and coconut oils, aloe extract and other nutrients to help moisten and rejuvenate the skin.
  • Available at Human Nature Website
  • Recommendation: 5/5
  • Price: $3

Naturals by Watson Olive Hand Cream

Naturals by Watsons Olive Hand Cream

  • The packaging of the item is perfect, I like how the colors scheme used compliments one another
  • This is the most affordable hand lotion I’ve bought from a local drug store.
  • The size is not handy for me as I have too many things in my bag. They don’t have a smaller version of their 60ml product.
  • Consistency is light and it is non-greasy.
  • Softens skin
  • The smell is the one I don’t appreciate that much. I’m not sure how to describe the scent of it. I love olives but I just don’t know how olives smells like in perfumes or lotions.
  • Recommendation: 4/5
  • Price: $2

Of all the four hand creams I’ve tried I highly recommend The Face Shop and the Human Nature hand cream for now because I am still looking for more hand cream products to try. If I have found a new one I’ll share with you what I think about it. For the meantime, here are four hand creams I have tried.
