In the past, I was obsessed with painting, mostly children’s illustration. I was so fond of it that I have a whole collection of my artwork kept away just for myself (which is kinda sad, I think). But since my beautiful rescued cat, Cayenne passed away last April of this year, I suddenly stopped painting. I did paint when I had a commission and when I was making a portrait of my other cat, Pepper, but after that, I never touch a paintbrush.
However, this past few months I have been creating again, but this time I wasn’t painting. I am busy practicing the art of embroidery. I find the art relaxing and fun because after all I love crafting.
Now I and my friend are busy preparing for an upcoming bazaar near us. We both decided to make some handmade products. I created some embroidered bags and wallets while she will produce embroidered and painted pins.
Right now, I’m running out of time, as I am not even half done with my products. But I will remain positive in this situation and keep on creating.
For now, here are some of the items I have created for the bazaar.
